Review sites like Yelp and others update their policies frequently, and Frederick has no control over how they choose to prioritize search results or select reviews to be featured. We encourage all of our customers to stay informed on policy updates for any site where they have an online presence, and to customize Frederick's feedback & reviews functionality in whatever manner makes them most comfortable.
With that being said, we are aware of the issue, and we are reviewing Yelp's policies in detail at this time. Our team is discussing some product changes to make our platform more compliant with Yelp's policies going forward.
If you are concerned about the potential of being penalized by a specific site for simply asking customers to review their experience after a visit, you can remove the link to that site in the Business Listing section of your Frederick account, and it will no longer be highlighted to your customers through Frederick.
